When I walked into my house I knew immediately I wanted to live there. It's full of light, with amazing views of the mountains. You hardly need art for the walls! On warm evenings you can sit on the back upper deck with friends or family and watch the sun set over Mount Taylor fading into reds and oranges until the lights come up over the city. Magnificent!
The downstairs floors are tile for easy cleanup, which keep the house nice and cool in the summer. The fireplace is woodburning but is plumbed for a gas insert.
You can walk or bicycle in minutes to great restaurants, two grocery stores, and just about any convenience you might want - banks, pharmacies, gym, dry cleaners, bookstore.
The neighborhood is small and neighbors introduce themselves when you move in. There are parks and schools also within walking distance. It's a very dog-friendly place too.
The front yard is newly planted with low maintenance native grasses herbs and flowers. It's on a water-saving automatic drip and micro-spray system that has been completely rebuilt and is still set up to operate as a regular sprinkler system if desired. The backyard is on a sprinkler system and is also low maintenance with shrubs and plants. There's space to garden there if you want to add your own touch.
