Mesa Del Sol's first residential neighborhood expected to make homes available early 2012. The developers have broken ground on the first residential neighborhood.

With the economic downturn, plans to have residents living in 100 homes by early 2010 were delayed. The first phase of the residential project started Monday will include 250 homes. Infrastructure for those homes is expected to be done in six months.

Within the next 30 to 40 years Mesa Del Sol will be fully built and have more than 37,000 homes and 100,000 residents. 18 million square feet of stores, shops and business is expected as well.

The groundbreaking marked the beginning of new infrastructure for the first 250 homes in its first residential neighborhood. These land improvements…

I meet with customers every day and consistently hear that they do not know what is on their credit report or what their credit score is. In my opinion it is very important to know where you stand prior to applying for credit ie. vehicle loan, mortgage loan, credit card etc.

U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) entitles you to receive a free credit report once per year, with no strings attached. Here you can check Equifax, Transunion, and Experian safe and free. I recommend it and do it every year. Remember the credit report is free but you can buy your score for each bureau.

So if you are thinking of buying a home within the next 1-6 months go to the site below and check your credit report.

You can use this link www.AnnualCreditReport.com or…

Again I was driving by the Presbyterian development in Rio Rancho and surprised at the progess they have made. Starting to look like a building. I took a quick video for anyone who does not get out that way to often. This hospital will create many jobs and help the economy both in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque.

Disclaimer it is not the best video shot but at least you will get to see it.

I feel the best way to find an agent is by referral or qualification. I have had many relocating clients call and interview me over the phone or have a list of prepared questions they want answered and send them via email. They would interview 3 agents and then pick the one that they feel they can work with. I always tell everyone that it is important to work with someone you feel comfortable with because you will be in a relationship for a few months while searching and going through the home buying process. I feel that some of the important questions are 'Are you patient?' 'Have you worked with relocation buyers before?' 'What systems to you have in place to help me through the buing process?' 'Do you have a solid website with home listings that I can…

Xeriscaping vs. Zero-scapingMany people confuse xeriscaping with "zero-scaping." While both of these landscapes use less water than the traditional, turf-dominated approach, they are totally different in appearance and appeal.
Xeriscaping is lush and beautiful. Zero-scaping tends to be hot and less interesting.
Xeriscaping uses a wide variety of water-efficient plants to creat an oasis-like feeling. Zero-scaping uses lots of rocks and usually a juniper or yucca.
Xeriscaping makes an area colorful and inviting. For New Mexico, it's a water-smart and attractive way to landscape.
