What attracted us to this beautiful house and this neighborhood was that it is in a good school district, close to shopping, movie theater, the neighborhood is quiet and somewhat secluded. I love that our neighbors help each other and watch out for each others houses and for strange people in the neighborhood.
The front yard is just about no maintenance more for looks. The backyard has a nice patio and shaded area allowing for entertaining and relaxing in the morning with coffee and in the evening with family. I enjoy maintaining our small garden in the summers and sitting around a fire in the winters.

OPEN HOUSE FEBRUARY 9, 2014 FROM 1-3PM. There is so much of our house that we like it’s hard to know where to start. It’s cozy, comfortable, and complete with custom features throughout and fabulous views of the Sandia Mountains. We love going out to the patio in the morning with a cup of coffee to enjoy the view and quiet – the only sounds we hear are that of the sounds of wild life. We have rabbits, quail and an assortment of birds. Or we can go out to the covered front patio and on occasion watch hot air balloons floating by in the distance. Inside the house, we love the custom Italian tile, radiant floor heat, Kiva wood burning fireplace with gas line to start that wood going. There is so much about our home that we loved. We did so much to it thinking we would never leave. We chose the place mainly because it was between both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The best part about our house is the back yard. My wife designed the side and the ponds while I built the patio with ideas from Sandia Casino. The fence was built by myself with seeing fences like that in Santa Fe. We would go out at Sunset and look at all of the different colors of the sunset on the Sandia Crest. After that when it got dark we would watch the fish in our pond and some times have neighbors over for a glass of wine.
